Fire Marshal Approvals for Las Vegas Trade Show Builds
Fire marshal review is non-negotiable at LVCC and most Strip convention venues. Here's what they check.
Fabrics: NFPA 701 certification
Every fabric on the booth needs flame certification documentation. Bring physical or digital copies.
Overhead structures
Anything overhead above 8 feet typically needs engineered drawings and pre-approval.
Egress and aisle clearance
Booth layouts cannot obstruct egress paths. Marshals enforce minimum aisle clearance at install.
Documentation
Bring stamped engineered drawings, flame certs, and your booth permit. Missing paperwork = booth yellow-tagged until corrected.
