Halls at Mandalay Bay
Bayside Level
Ground-level exhibit halls A, B, C, D — the primary trade-show floor. Dock access via the Mandalay Bay convention loading dock; strict move-in windows.
Shoreline Level
Second-level ballrooms and breakouts — freight elevators required for any hard build. Components must fit within elevator dimensions or ship flat-pack.
Oceanside Ballroom
Column-free 100,000+ sq ft — popular for general sessions and gala buildouts. Carpet is permanent; all builds require protection.
Install playbook: Mandalay Bay
Drayage & material handling
Drayage at Mandalay Bay is billed by the exclusive show contractor (typically Freeman or GES). Rates run in line with LVCC — $135-$210 per 100 lbs. Local direct-shipping from our Vegas shop bypasses the advance warehouse layer.
Dock scheduling
Mandalay Bay has a shared loading dock — move-in windows are enforced hard, and vehicles staging outside their window are turned away and returned to marshaling. Nova crews arrive 30-45 min before window open to secure position.
Union jurisdictions
Same core union roster as LVCC (Carpenters 1780, Teamsters 631, IATSE 720) but with tighter casino-property protocols. Our lead installers hold current relationships with the on-property stewards.
Floor protection
Mandalay Bay convention floors are 100% carpeted permanent installation — any wheeled equipment, castered case, or freight cart must run on a protection path (masonite, ram board, or plywood). Every Nova build ships with the protection path included; no surprise fees from show management.
Rigging & hanging signs
Overhead rigging is IATSE 720, same stamped-drawing threshold as LVCC. Mandalay Bay has additional height restrictions in certain halls (Shoreline ballrooms cap lower than Bayside) — we design against the specific hall assignment.
Fire marshal submissions
Clark County Fire Marshal — same submission rules as LVCC for enclosed/multi-level structures.
