Custom Exhibit Builder at LVCC
The LVCC is the largest single-level convention center in North America — 4.6 million sq ft across the Central, North, South, and West Halls. Each hall has its own loading dock schedule, drayage rates, and aisle layout. Nova installs there weekly, which means our lead installers already know the marshaling yard rotation, the union stewards on each hall, and which freight doors clear a 12-ft coffer without disassembly.

Halls at LVCC
West Hall
The newest hall (opened 2021) — 1.4M sq ft, 328,000 sq ft of exhibit space on the main level, purpose-built for CES keynote-scale exhibits. Direct connection to the LVCC Loop (Tesla underground tunnel). Cleanest install conditions of any LVCC hall — smoother floor, higher ceilings (50 ft clear), and dedicated freight elevators to the upper meeting levels.
Central Hall
The historic core of the LVCC — 1M+ sq ft. Home to the bulk of CES automotive and Fortune 500 exhibits. Older infrastructure means floor tolerances are less forgiving; we shim and level every millwork run on install.
North Hall
700,000+ sq ft, primarily used for NAB, SEMA, and MJBizCon. Loading via the North Hall dock on Convention Center Drive — tighter marshaling yard than Central, so drayage timing matters more.
South Hall
Split across two levels (Lower / Upper), 1M+ sq ft combined. Upper-level exhibits require freight elevator scheduling — build components must clear the 8-ft elevator door, or ship in flat-pack panels for shop reassembly on the floor.

Drayage & material handling
LVCC drayage (material handling) is billed by the official show contractor — usually Freeman, GES, or Shepard — not the venue. Rates typically run $130-$185 per 100 lbs for advance warehouse and $150-$225/100 lbs for direct-to-show, with 200 lb minimums per shipment. Because our shop is 12 miles from the LVCC dock, we can direct-ship 90% of your build and skip advance warehouse fees entirely — that alone saves most clients $2,000-$8,000 per show vs. an out-of-state builder.
Dock scheduling
LVCC has 100+ dock positions across the four halls. Move-in windows are assigned by the show contractor and enforced strictly — miss your window and you're rescheduled to the back of the marshaling yard queue (often 6-10 hours). We arrive early, stage in the marshaling yard, and coordinate directly with the dock supervisor on your assigned bay.
Union jurisdictions
LVCC uses Teamsters Local 631 (freight/material handling), IATSE Local 720 (rigging, AV, lighting), and Carpenters Local 1780 (booth install/dismantle). Union jurisdictions are strict — our lead installers hold current union relationships and know which tasks require which local. We staff supervision only where allowed and hire union labor through the show's exclusive contractor for the rest.
Floor protection
LVCC concrete floors don't require plywood underlayment for standard exhibits, but any vehicle, hard-castered structure, or 500+ lb point load requires a floor-protection plan filed with the show. We handle this in the design phase.
Rigging & hanging signs
All overhead work at LVCC (hanging signs, truss, AV rigging) goes through IATSE Local 720 and requires stamped engineering drawings for anything over 200 lbs. Rigging orders lock 30 days before move-in — our design team files these on your behalf.
Fire marshal submissions
Clark County Fire Marshal enforces multi-level, tented, and enclosed exhibit rules. Any structure over 300 sq ft of covered space, any two-story build, and any exhibit with a ceiling requires plan submission 30-45 days out. We manage submission and revisions.
